Nice porcelain case shelf clock from the Gilbert Clock Co. Circa 1910. The case is a rich green finish with bright flowers underneath the dial and on the top and sides of the case. The paper dial is original and surrounded by a brass bezel that has unique cutouts to reveal the numbers. The 8 day movement has been overhauled and strikes the hours on a cathedral gong but the half hour on a cupped bell. No cracks or chips to the case, just minor crazing as can be expected for a clock of this age. Overall a nice example of a porcelain clock.
